Wrong Signature in passport.?

Actually my dad had filled up my passport application form and he just wrote my name in the signature space. So I have that imprint (my name and NOT my signature) in my passport. Is it a problem? How can I rectify it? Do I have to apply afresh?

You need to contact the passport office to find out what you need to do.

i got my new passport last april and now i found out that i sign it with my old signature not the signature i signed when i applied for my passport..do i need to renew again? or follow the signature i signed in my new passport? but all the signatures i have in my i'ds are different too..
