well the pictures they ask for have to have BOTH of us in it..? what if we are on vacation and we were there together alone and we took pictures of our self separate

They need pictures to validate that you actually are in a bonefide marriage. This helps to disprove any fraudulant marriages. You can take pictures together. Just hold out the camera in front of the two of you and snap head shots together. It's not that difficult.

Separate pictures won't feed the bulldog. You need a least 1 picture of you both, together, in the picture.

They want pictures of the two of you together, it proves that you are together. Pictures of you separately does not prove what immigration wants. What they want to know is that your really together.
