1) I have been hit in my car TWICE by uninsured illegals (ruled as their fault, not mine). They paid - $0. I paid for my car, my injuries AND my insurance went up - twice.

2) My son's class size has doubled and half the children do not speak English. The teacher spends most of her time with the kids who do not speak English. The gifted program, the music program, art and gym have been cut in order to have money for the ESL programs. I now have to pay for outside lessons for my son to get a good, solid education.

3) My health insurance costs have tripled. When we go to the ER, we pay for us as well as all the illegals using that hospital and we wait in line for hours behind illegals who are using the ER as their family doctor.

4) We went in for regular immunizations and the health department told us we needed to get Hep. A shots too and pointed to a map showing Hep. A all along the border. She explained that if we ever eat at a restaurant, we need the shots because of all the illegals working at restaurants. $40 each, a series of two for each person - $320.

5) While volunteering at my son's school, I routinely hear illegal children saying "F*** America!" while espousing the merits of their own country.

6) My kids are not allowed to wear or display the American flag at school as it might upset the illegals.

7) I am unable to get a job in my field unless I speak Spanish. Now...I'm all for speaking another language but not being required to speak another language in my own country so that I can keep my job.

8) Watching the news, I hear about people being shot, kids being abducted, etc. etc. etc. and a firm 80% of the time it's someone who is here illegally.

9) There are marches here with illegals DEMANDING free college, free health care, free this and that. It's not free - they're demanding that I pay even more to accommodate them. And they're here ILLEGALLY!

My friend is a dental hygenist and the day of the "Day without an immigrant" march, she had a family come in who could not speak English - all in white t-shirts - heading to the march. Mom, dad and six kids all got their teeth cleaned at tax-payer expense before heading out to complain that they're not getting enough. (As citizens, we pay $320 per person to get our teeth cleaned while paying taxes so illegals can get it done for free).

i, as a legal immigrant, am very offended by the seemingly nonstop insinuations that immigration equals an illegal status. i came to this country legally, i pay taxes, contribute to social security,etc. i came to this country with my mother signing a piece of paper ensuring the US that she is gonna be liable (and the government can sue her) if i'll ever be on welfare. i was educated in a foreign country and i came here armed with my education. i got a job here and there were US-born applicants vying for this job as well. however, i can say for sure that i did not take away any job from any american, nor lower anybody's salary because of it. i was hired because i was more qualified than them.

Well You will get some here that will say we are all immigrants.But the true answer to this is my great great great grandparents may have been immigrants but entered legally.Now me in the here and now I cant be a immigrant because I was born here,so for those who likes to say we are all immagrints that isnt true unless you yourself came from somewhere else.So you who say this are idiots and dont know the meaning of immigrants.Now as far as immigrants I have no problems with them coming but with times hard here in the USA I think we need to take care of our own 1st and foremost and then if we have people that want to do it the legal way and there is a need for them here then more power to them.Who wouldnt want to come to the USA its the greatest country in the world.But But the illegal aliens that come here its a known fact the reason they do it is because our government is full of fools that want follow the laws and let them come here and feed off our services such as welfare,houseing, ect.Most of our illegal immigrants do nothing for us they only take and it must stop.A good example of this isCal now heres a state that is bankrup from so many people living off of the system(both legal and illegal) and it will spread like wildfire too.Becasue there is a falsehood going around how the illegals are going home,not even close they are moving to other states and sponging off them.They must be deported and ASAP as we tax payers can not take care of our homes and others too.

It's great! they do the jobs we don't want. They buy stuff. They bring their tasty food. but they don't take advantage of our benefits, and I think Greasy Tony made that really clear with the links he provided. Can't say much after that guy. He really nails it all the time.

3) Our benefits actually see little, to postive effects from illegal immigration

a) The taxes paid by illegals and not collected actually help Medicare and Social Security stay afloat. Those same taxes help pay retirement checks and even help with our road maintenance.
