Hi,
I'm currently in the US on a J1 visa which expires at the end of March. My program got extended for another year and I would like to renew my visa in late February. Is it possible to renew my visa although my old one would still be valid for reentering the US on my planned day of return? I'll need the new one for traveling outside the US later this year.
