hi. do i need a canadian visa on u.s green card. i went to my home country. but now im visting to singapore. im planning to vist canada from here only for 2-3 days. what should i do to make a trip from here. only need a ticket via canada transit or still need visa. im still not clear yet. so help me guys. thanks

Sorry that I did not answer your additional question on your first answer, I just have not seen it before the question was closed.
You do not need any visa for Canada as U.S. Green Card holder; you can just step on the plane, don't need to get a visa at the Canadian High Commission or at the airport in Singapore. You will get the visa (which is just a stamp in the passport) on arrival from a Canadian Border Services officer. If you plan to travel back to SIngapore you should hold proof of having booked a return flight; if you plan to go to the United States proof of an onward flight booking. U.S. Green Card holders are welcomed in Canada as tourists, but they must show their intend to leave the country.

Green card and your own passport should be fine. Green card holders are eligible for the Visa Waiver Program. |
