I think when you have Indefinite leave to remain you can enter and exit the UK as much as you want BUT you have to wait 1 year to get full citizenship and a UK passport. |

You don't qualify for anything. You may be eligible to apply for citizenship after a full year with ILR, but ILR in itself does not give you any rights to become a British citizen.
Once you have citizenship, then, and only then, can you apply for a British passport. |

You may be able to apply for citizenship after a year on ILR but applying does not automatically mean you will get it! There are citizenship tests, a Life in the UK test, English Language tests and other things which you must pass before you can qualify for British citizenship.
If you get citizenship you can then apply for a passport. |

I think you have to be sworn in at some special place but do not know where. Go to an MP, in your area and he could help you, and show you the way of what to do. It is very nice to hear that you are going the right way as proper citizen should, and abide by the Law. Good luck and hope you can settle down here.... because after all we are not a bad sort of people to get on with if you do everything the correct way and according to our Laws.
