One can only hope.
This is a states rights issue.
The states have the right to protect themselves when the federal government doesn't.
As the various states pass legislation it can only strengthen the States Rights and limit Federal Government growth as the U.S. Constitution allows.
Tenth Amendment – The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
