So i was driving down my street and some guy was riding my ***, and he passed us and flipped us off, so my sis flipped him off, he stops get outta off the car and comes to my window, he was like "You wanna flip me off?" and i was like "What are you gonna do im a minor?" so he was like "Im gonna beat your ***!" and he grabbed my shirt and punched me, so i got out and was like "You just hit a minor!" he got in his car and left and i got his license plate and called RPD and want to charge assualt, what kinda consequences is this guy facing?

Not just assault, but battery, also.
Criminal Charges will probably end up being 6-12 months probation, unless he has a criminal history. If he does, he could get more, including jail time.
Bruises and other witnesses would help your cause.
You could also charge him with a civil suit, aggravated assault and battery. A lawyer could probably tell you what you what you could sue for.
You could stand to get quite a bit if the story is exactly as you say...especially if he is convicted criminally. |

That's what happens when children try to play grown ups. Your sister and yourself aren't totally innocent here. (17 year olds are notorious liars). You pi**ed off an adult and couldn't handle the situation.
Best advice... Think before you act. It will save you a heap of pain on your journey through life.

might be a 150 dollar fine if they fine him and and you can prove he hit you .. and really next time keep your finger down or dont stop.. your just lucky he didnt kill you.. smarter and easiers on the face.. most likely your not going to get anything out of it but knowing if you flip some off you can get more than a smack in the head... last guy stuck his hand in my car had to chase his car cause i push it down the road with out him... |
