the road, until I heard my car start to crunch beneath his truck. He then exited his vehicle, approached my car, and since it was July, and early evening, I scrambled to roll up my window, as I am 100 lbs. soaking wet, and he was obviously an enraged large guy. He started swearing at me thru the couple cmm I'd left my window down, I apologized IF I had indeed cut him off and asked him to remove his truck from my car to which he replied "**** u lady" and sped off, taking with him my entire front bumper and flip-flopping my car into the intersection. I jumped out of my car and yelled to the people on the street to "get his plate". When he stopped a block up the road to kick my sparking bright yellow bumper off his truck he saw all the witnesses approaching me, & decided to come back & exchange papers. I soon got no cooperation from the police. I even had to phone internal affairs to have this guy charged. they charged him only with dangerous driving, and "lost" the witness info I

Find out when he has to appear in court, and make sure you are there, with proof of insurance, and an estimate of how much it will cost to repair your vehicle.Then Judge will ask for the complaining witness, and that's when you tell your side of the story, it doesn't matter if you cut him off, what matters is he hit your vehicle. It will be your word, against his, and you will probably win, just remain calm in court, and only speak when the Judge ask you a question. Once you have won that case, then you can file a civil case against him, for any obscenities, he may have passed on to your delicate ears, all I want is a motorcycle. If you exchanged information with him, and he got a ticket, just contact his insurance company with the information as to the cost to have your car repaired (you did get an estimate, right?) and request payment. |

you never get any cooperation from the police. the only time you get anything from them is when you break the law and get a "safe driving award". i would find someone to crawl under his truck and crimp his transmission lines shut with a vise grip. the resulting flow restriction will cause the trans to burn up within 50 miles and if he takes it somewhere to get it fixed where they don`t inspect the lines then it will happen again and again, etc. it will be enough to make him real angry. remember that there are 3 ways to hurt someone: 1) call them a name. 2) beat them with a bat. or 3) hit them in the pocket book.( this hurts worst of all ) this get even maneuver is one of my personal favorites and i have used it 11 times successfully. happy hunting. |
