WHY oh WHY am I being asked to pay 300 dollars to hand the title over to the towing company? And why are they charging me 250 dollars just to get it out? ******* mafia they are! They say if it goes to collections the bill will go up to 2000 dollars, are they bsing me?

As registered owner you are responsible for the car.Once I sold my car and forgot to report it to DMV,two year later I got 1500$ bill for towing and storage.When I called them,they were rude and threatening me.I had a signed bill of sale,so I prayed and sent the collection agency a letter,stating that the car was sold and I have a proff of it.Never heard from them again,it's been around two years.
