If you get into a car accident, will your insurance pay for the cost of repair, or if it is totaled will it pay for a new car?

In what situation will they be able to pay for the cost of repair or car?

Either your own insurance will pay, if you have the proper coverage or the other persons insurance will pay. You need to visit an agent and have him explain the basics to you.

the insurance company will pay the cost of repair. But it depends on your car's age. the repayment will depend that hou much depretation will be charged onyour veh. value. the ins. company will pay for new car only when your car is less then 6 months old and became totalloss.
