im 20, i passed when i was 18.
at what age is insurance cheaper, i know it depends on where you live, car, model, engine etc but
at what age?

i have never driven a car since ive passed but cos i live in a city its fine transport here is quick
however do the DVLA take into account that i have not driven after ive passed, when i want to buy a new car and purchase an insurance for the first time even after 25?

The real answer in reality is 25, though this is really unfair. I was driving at 17, and had done hundreds of thousands of miles by the time I was 24, but my cousin passed at 25 and got cheaper insurance though she had virtually the same car. The other prominent factor is simply your address. My parents and I live about a mile apart, but I get cheaper insurance at my house as I live in a posher area postcode! |

They say 25 but even at that age it's very expensive with no ncb. My sis is 26 and just started driving and is paying £720 on a Ford Ka. |
