Any advice on my insurance claim?

I was driving home today and i stopped at the red traffic lights at a padestrian crossing. About 10 seconds later a car drove (not skidded) into the back of me, sending my car fully over the padestrian crossing.
I was thrown forward with a lot of force and i have since been suffering pains in my neck and all over my back aswell as muscle spasms in my neck.
The back of my car is pushed in quite badly.
The woman fully admitted it was her fault at the time and i even tried to record her saying it on my phone but it didn't come out.
There were no witnesses involved but i have taken photos of the scene showing her car behind mine at the crossing.
Where do i stand with this, is there any chance she can lie and say it was my fault. Can anyone give me any advice.

i have worked closely with insurance companies and its quite clear-cut,.... anyone who runs up the back of anyone is at total fault .... by either driving to close or driving without due care and attention.... as for injuries you need to visit hospital so its recorded in case a later claim for personal injuries arises

Yeah, she says you and the traffic light backed into her.

Let the insurance companies sort this out. That's what you pay them huge sums of money for. If you've got an excess on your policy, claim it from hers.

Contact the council/Police see if any cameras cover the area.-most crossings/traffic lights are covered.

She hit the rear of your car.
The insurance will automaticly blame her for not stopping in time.

She can try, but it'll be pretty obvious from the damage whose fault it was. Give her details to your insurers & let them sort it out.

First of all, report the accident to the police.

Secondly, make a claim with hers AND your insurance company.

Thirdly, there's always a chance someone could lie. Most people do not want to take responsibility for their actions or admit that they were the cause of an auto accident.

Make the claim with her company and just follow their procedures to get your vehicle fixed

Just fill in the forms and see what happens. Was the police called? they will have statements. If not you will have to see what the insurance companies come up with.

Heck yeah she can and probably will lie. Why didn't you call the cops? It's vital to call the police at the time of ANY accident, no matter how big or small because now it's just your word against her's which doesn't stand up in court or with any insurance company.
