hi i'm applying for my first provisional licence and i'm just wondering can i drive a car on my own with it or do i need someone with a full licence with me at all time. the reason i ask is because i use to life in ireland and i was able to do it over there just not sure how it works own here. thank you for your help

The law states that you need someone to supervise you, however they must be at least 21 years of age or over and already hold a full driving licence for 3 years. |

No, someone must accompany you at all times and they must be over 21 and have had their license for at least 3 years.
The law has changed in Ireland too, they cannot drive unaccompanied any more |

You will also be required to display "L" plates. Buy and read the Highway Code. Stay safe. |

You MUST have someone with you who is over 21 years old, has a full licence for 3 years (with no points in that time).
That is the LAW. |
