Were in canada, and my boyfriend has a suspended drivers license, just wondering if were able to take a trip tot he states or anywhere else in the world? i was told that he cant go the the states but can go to mexico? just want to clear this up a little bit! thanks

You can certainly travel, you just can't drive. If you want to go to the US, you have to have your passport now. A driver's licence or birth certificate is no longer accepted for entry into the US from Canada. |

He needs valid photo identification. I'm not entirely sure what is good enough for the boarder but I know driver's licence and passport are ok.
Go to the boarder services website and take a look at what ID you need to have to cross the boarder. |
