25, usually (in Texas for sure) unless you're married. If you're married, you might have to have your spouse on the plan, too. In the mean time, you might want to get some defensive driving courses. Those usually lower rates, too.

Goes down when married, and actually a little each year, but a bigger jump at 25. BUT it will start going up again later , in 60's or 70's. Our daughters went down on her last birthday, 22, and we got a refund check right away from State Farm, without having to call, and without having to wait until the renewal date.

For a male in California I have heard 25 years old, but my insurance went down when I turned 18, I had no accidents or tickets. But it did not go down a whole lot maybe like $120.

mine went down when i got married at 22......my hubby's went down when he was single and turned 25 however......defensive driving courses will also usually lower your insurance.......good luck it is crazy!
