At what point do I drop full coverage on my car and get only liability?

I have a 2003 Focus with just over 90k miles.

Assuming there are no liens against the car the real question is how much of a hit can you take out of your pocket in the event of an accident? When the value of your car reduces to or falls below what you can afford to lose then it's time to drop the physical damage part of your policy. If your still in a quandary , consider insuring for fire, theft and combined additional perils. This will be somewhat cheaper than the comprehensive cover you are now have. In either event, may I suggest you take the insurance savings( monthly, yearly etc) and put it in a savings account at your bank. That way, you will have some money if you have an accident and if not, you will at least have paid your self instead of the dumb insurance company.r

go to kbb.com and find out the price of your car find out how much full coverage is costing you than make a determination on what you want to drop

Put the specs for your car in the kelley's blue book website calculator. When the cost to replace your car is about what you'd save in car insurance (or approx you'd be willing to pay out of pocket should something happen) then drop the full.
