Attitude at the DMV?

Well yes alot of DMV employees are sick of the job and people. Alot of state employees have attitudes too because people are afraid to make complaints to their superiors. Since Arnold was aware of the problem DMV has really changed alot. If a state employee is rude to you ask for the office manager and ask to make a formal complaint. If the employee gets enough complaints the DMV can remprimand or even fire them. If that does not work ask for the name and number of the regional manager for that area and take the complaint to them.

I firmly believe that the people that work for the DMV are given some kind of medication that causes them to be as rude to people as they can possibly be. I wish I could get a job where I could treat people like crap and make good money. Try that in a hospital. I think you will be gone. Excellent question. You get a star from me.

I AM NOT ABLE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, BUT I FEEL THE SAME WAY YOU DO REGARDING THE ATTITUDES AT DMV. I AM GLAD YOU ASKED THIS QUESTION. I THOUGHT I WAS IMAGINING THINGS WHEN I WENT THERE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Think about it. How would you like to get in a car numerous times a day with anxious 16 yr olds or 80 yr old that can't see their hand in front of thier face? I wouldn't risk it! I'd be crabby too.

They hold all the power - it's not like buying a car where if you get bad attitude from the sales staff you just go to another dealer. The only way to get a drivers license is through them so if you want to drive you have to put up with their crap and they know this - so it gives them no incentive to be nice. They are just like the cops.

They are trapped in the fully manifested 7th layer of hell that is their lives. Brimstone, lava and sulfur as far as they can see; plus the buildings are below code and indanger of collapse.
Also, they're state employees. Only if they take sniper shots at upper level appointed persons or sell licenses to illegal/unregistered persons, they will never get fired/dismissed/let go.
