Auto accidents settlements?

i was in a car accident were i was rear ended and pushed into another car. my car was knocked off the frame. and my seat ended up in the back seat of my car. i have had severe neck and back pain. this happened about two yrs ago. have not settled yet.

You should definitely find out what the statute of limitations is for bodily injury claims are in your state. It's possible it's too late to settle it. In CA, the SOL is 2 years. In other states it's as short as 6 months. You could be running out of time. I would call the other party's insurance company and ask how the claim is going as well as what the Statute of Limitations is. It's probably time to get moving on it and put the claim behind you.

i hope you have a good lawyer.make sure you let your lawyer know of the pain you are going through.he will send you to the proper doctors.a lot of times the lawyer for you will not settle for your best interest,to make sure you have all your medical taken care of,because that will be included in the settlement too.so just hang in there.
