Straight to jail.

They will look up his record, and immediately find that the vehicle is neither insured, nor is the owner of the vehicle allowed to be driving.

There will likely be a warrant for his arrest.

His best option, if he has any balls at all, is to turn himself in before it gets to that point. Have him go into the police station, explain that he just got a ticket, and was driving without a license.

The punishment will likely be much more lenient, since he's being responsible about it.

Or they might not care at all, since driving without a license and insurance isn't responsible in the slightest.

Just bec the car's plate was registered to him that's why he got the ticket and they don't know really who was driving it so just pay the ticket but have him move on it fast.

The citation will be given to the registered owner of the vehicle. If has never been licensed, how could he have registered the vehicle? This ticket is going to be issued to someone other than him.

If he is driving under revocation or suspension, then things could get worse. A lot worse. Best bet then is to pay the fine as quickly as possible and hope that the system doesn't catch up with him.

Your friend is showing a serious character flaw and lack of responsibility by driving around without insurance and running traffic signals while he's at it. Be careful about the choices you make regarding this friend less you wind up holding one of the many "bags" like this he is going to have before he graduates from the School of Hard Knocks.

They will check the Licence number of the vehicle as to whether it is taxed, Mot'd and insured. Without insurance, the Police now have the power to sieze the car and take it off the road. They will not release it until an Insurance certificate for the car is produced and pay the storage and the costs of having the car removed to the pound.AS to the licence, that will be a fine, Points on his licence, and a diqualification.
Driving without Insurance on the road today is like holding a loaded gun to someones head. I have no sympathy for your friend in this instance.
The Police will hold the car for 3 weeks before it is sent to the scrap yard.

If the car is registerred to him, then yes, they will find out, if not then possibly he could get off, I would suggest to him that he pay the ticket right away by sending them a check or a cashiers check or money order But do it fast.

It won't be straight to jail, it really should be though. He will more likely end up having his non exitant license taken away, get banned from driving, and receive a very hefty fine.
There is no way to legally challenge it if he was driving!

What kind of camera? All my camera's just lay there on the table. But you have a camera that Speeds. What brand,I got to get me one of those there. Is it perty? Kidding. The ticket for camera violations only go to the registered owner of the car because anyone could be driving It. So, just pay the ticket and they will not ask for ANYTHING. No insurance no license? No Sense!! Thats why insurance rates are SOOOO high. Because of these people like your "FRiend". ;) wink-wink
