Best advice for driving test.?

I took 3 tests in total, and found the best way for me was just to try and act as much like its a normal day as much as possible, otherwise you give yourself far too much time to sit and think. Try not to stress! goodluck.

want to try and relax but if you aren't doing anything you will end up thinking about your test. So best to keep busy but doing something thats not too difficult or stressful.

Keep calm and try to pretend the examiner is just a passenger in the car, keep under the speed limit, keep looking in your rear view mirror now and then.... you're on the road by yourself. Good Luck.
I would suggest you keep fairly busy in the morning, but don't do anything hectic, maybe mid or late morning you can have a nice soak in the tub, that will relax you.

my tip which was recommended to me by my instructor when taking my second test was to take big deep breaths during my test,especially after performing emergency stop.It worked!I have recommended this to a few friends and they also passed!GOOD LUCK

It's best if you focus on the future. Think of all the freedom and independence you will have once you're able to get in that car and go where you want. You're in control of that car and not the other way around. Be a defensive driver and all should fair well.

It's a pity your test is in the afternoon - gives you all day to worry about it.

About two hours before your instructor is due to pick you up, go and lie down and relax. Close your eyes and, in real time, drive yourself through all the manoeuvres and junctions you are likely to need to do - perfectly. As you are doing it, breath deep and relax. Don't fall asleep! I promise you this helps as it puts you in the right frame of mind and focused.

Make sure you practice one or two things in the car in the hour before the test. Get to the test centre in loads of time to go to the loo or whatever. Be unruffled and unrushed.

You know how to drive. The examiner WANTS you to pass - he'd much prefer to say 'congratulations' rather than 'sorry'.

your instructor would have never put you forward for your test if he/she thought you were not up to test standard.
So' you can drive, and you are ready. the examiner is not a monster, you have 40 minutes to show him you can drive, and you have been showing that to your instructor for longer than 40 minutes.
We all say relax, in fact what else can we say, but try and relax. YOU ARE READY.

realx! Also go in thinking you will fail, you will then relax and drive normally! Sounds strange but worked for me. Good luck
