I found this this site on yahoo answers... there are many auto insurance sites on here but i liked this one the best. It was quick and simple and really gave me what I needed. It gave me the most affordable rates from the top providers for my area.

Well, the vast majority are "bait" quotes. They're actually harvesting your personal information, and selling it to agents as leads. Plus, those quotes are bait - if you actually try to buy the insurance, you'll then get a REAL rate, reflecting actual tickets and accident and credit score, not "best possible".
There's no short cut. Your best bet is to call a few local agents, and get quotes. An independent agent represents multiple companies, and can get several quotes for you at once. |

I personally don't trust 'em. I had enough trouble as an agent keeping up with 3 or 4 companies' rates; there's no way to know if the web site is current or not with possibly dozens of companies. Try calling some agents/companies direct. |
