Can I add collision coverage for my auto insurance policy for only a weekend?

I have a car that I'm selling that I downgraded the insurance to just liability when we stopped regularly driving it. This weekend, however, we need to use it and I'd like the damages to be covered in case of an accident. Will the insurance company allow me to change the policy for just 2 days?
Additional Details
Basically what I'm trying to figure out is do I even tell them it's only for 2 days, or do I just change the policy and then next week tell them I want to go back to just liability.

You don't tell them it's for two days, you just go back and delete the coverage.
Keep in mind, the insurance company isn't going to keep doing this for you, because making the change actually costs them money. So, if you do it more than twice during a year, they'll probably refuse to take the coverage off after that. |

You will need to contact your insurance company to see if they offer a "short term" policy for what you are wanting to do. I would suspect they will only do it for a minimum time like maybe three months or six months but don't take that to the bank because I am not sure of it. The only way to know for sure would be contact your insurance company and see if they offer it for a short time frame. |
