So I got pulled over and I got a ticket for driving with a suspended licence. I live in Illinois so does this mean that my license will be revoked? If so, can I still drive if it pertains to work? I'm asking this becasue I want to get my CDL in a couple of months. Thanks!

Your license is already suspended, so legally you cannot drive- at all. Period.
And no you will not be able to get your CDL until your license has been reinstated and is valid. That means all fines, court costs & any reinstatement fees need to be paid & you take all paperwork (if any) to DMV & get them to reinstate your license BEFORE you can even attempt to get, or even think about getting, your CDL.
So to put it plainly, you cannot legally drive to get groceries, see family or friends, get gas, go to work, go shopping or go anywhere that requires you to drive a motor vehicle until your license has been reinstated & is again valid. If you continue to drive while suspended & continue to get pulled over & cited- then yea, it will be very likely that your license will be revoked if IL has any habitual offender laws.
And the more citations you incur, the less likely you will ever be able to get a CDL. |

You will wait awhile for your CDL. maybe never depending on why you lost your license. Driving on a suspended license is pretty much revoked. |
