So my moms name is on the loan because she originally wanted everything to be in her name, but because Im the one thats going to be paying the loan and the insurance she decided to just find out if we can just get the car in my name

I dont have like any credit...I have a job but I dont have a credit car have never gotten a loan or anything like that.

If your mother's name is on the loan, the vehicle needs to be registered in her name. However, it is in your best interest to have the vehicle co-registered with your mother. Make sure your mother discusses this with the lien holder as well. The insurance company and lien holder both need to know who is driving the vehicle and who it is registered to. |

No. Your moms name is on the loan papers and if you have no credit there is no way that the finance company will allow you to take over the loan. |

NO, unless you rewrite the loan. You can, unless your state laws dictate, register the car in your name but the loan would still be in moms |

they will have to run a credit check and they will probably refinance it based upon your credit.........

EB is correct is suggesting you be added to the title. The title is with the lender, so tell them you want them to put your name on it. Then a new registration will be sent to you with both your mom and your name on it and it will show the lien holder as well.
Your name needn't be on the loan. Another way is to add you as a "TOD" = transfer on death
You have no rights or responsibility, but the car will go to you upon your mom's passing.
