During the December Blizzard Massachusetts had my car slid down a hill and hit a curve and they had to total my car....
Now since I was the only driver I am 50% at fault for this accident
Anyway a lot of people have been telling to appeal it as an act of god. Problem is I have been too busy trying to get a new car that it went past 30 days from the surcharge notice date and I need to know if I can still appeal this.
I am a safe drive and I was going maybe 10 mph down this icy hill when my car slid on the ice...Please any help would be appreciated

It's not an act of God that you were driving.
It's not an act of God that you chose to drive in bad weather.
God created the weather. You chose to try to drive in it. There's nothing to appeal.
It's like finding a cliff, jumping off it, and saying God made the cliff, so it's not your fault. |

Vipassana hit the nail on the head. Flooding is another example of an event insurance doesn't count as an act of god because it is a forseable event. You knew it was slippery and you knew there was a hill. If you appeal it will likely just be a waste of your time. |
