You need to check your insurance and see if it will cover someone driving your car with you permission. You will be liable for anything that happens while he is driving your car because you are the registered owner. |

You need to check your insurance policy to determine if unnamed driver is insured and to what degree. If he wrecks the car, your insurance would go up or even be dropped. |

Insurance goes with the car, not with the driver. So yes,he can drive with your permission. If there is an accident, it will be your insurance that will cover it, and your rates that will go up perhaps. If he gets your car impounded and towed, you will have to pay to get it back.
Think carefully before lending your vehicle, but yes, he can. |

Not unless he or she has a proof of insurance that states they are covered in any vehicle they drive not likely ,,.or if they sign a waiver of liability over to you stateing they will not sue or seek damages from you or your insurance company,, not likely,.. or they promise to pay for the caskets and wheel chairs of any persons hurt by their actions or lack of action while driving your car,. not likely so heres the deal if you allow someone to operate your car and they hurt someone or kill them or destroy another car you are the responsible party and can end up paying for all the lives and property that are involved dont lend your car at all ,,, |

Yes he CAN drive it.. the question is: If he gets in an accident with your car and he has no insurance --- is your friendship going to survive it?
You'd better prepare for all contingencies if he's going to drive your car without insurance. |
