I am planning on buying a car, but my mom offered to put it on her insurance. Is that possible?

My mom is also my cosigner, so will be she be on my title? and if she is, does that mean i can be on her insurance?

The answer to your primary question, unlike some answers given is yes.
It is perfectly possible for someone to own a car and someone else insure it - This is perfectly normal, for example, lease cars are owned by the leasing company but are insured by the keeper.
When you mention your mom putting it on an existing policy, this sounds harder. There are very few companies that offer a single policy to cover more than one car and so this is unlikely to happen.
More likely is that what you mean is that she will insure the car in her name with you as a named driver. This is not legitimate. It is called fronting and is fraud. I would strongly recommend that if this is the case you seek insurance in your own name. I am sure you know people who do insre in their parents name but be aware that the insurance industry disputes in court over a thousand claims a year because of fronting.
In short, you don't have to be the owner of a car to insure it but you do need to be the main driver. |

If you live in the same household, yes, otherwise, no.
Insurance goes with the Title to the car, and covers
the owner. She'd have to be on the Title. |
