if it is a single car accident on slippery road and hit the lamppost and claim on your own car insurance because you can not claim whiplash on your own car insurance

Your insurance is covers accidents to third parties (i.e. someone else) and repairs to your own car if you have fully comprehensive cover.
Was there a clause in your policy that covered you against the results of your own poor driving? Didn't think so.

you cant file like the others said, since in effect you are suing yourself;
just because the road is slippery, does not make you not at fault; your company will find you to be at fault since you have a duty to drive more responsibly on bad road conditions;
the only thing your company can do is pay for any medical bills under medical coverage and/or PIP depending on where you live; but they only pay for your medical bills if it is medically related to this accident; if you dont have either of this coverage, you will have to pay for your own medical bills. ; |

You should be able to if you can prove that it was the condition of the road and not your driving that caused the accident and you could be claiming fron the highways at county level. |
