Well what i mean is i attend to buy a car in 5weeks or so which leaves about 17days for the V5 document to come through i no you get the green slip when you buy the car however my question is

If on my birthday the full V5 document hasnt come through in the post can i still get insured on the car?

Yes .but you need either the reg number or the chassis number
