Can i park my car on my driveway without a road tax?

my car road tax has ended and decided not to buy a new road tax as i will not be using it , so is it against the law not to renew the road tax if i just leave my car on my driveway?

Only if you sign a SORN declaration.

I did, but you have to declare it sorn...this can be done via phone or the web.

no that is fine but you need to notify the people that deal with the road tax to declare your car as off the road.

No but you must fill in a SORN declaration and send it to the DVLA. You will find it on your previous road tax reminder form.
