Can i take dad's car out of state?

dad was in an accident in december. the insurance company was supposed to send someone out to inspect the damage. the car is still drivable. i want to go out of state and dad offered i take his car as mine is in need of repair. is this doable?

I suppose you can but if the accident happened in Dec. shouldn't you be asking the insurance company why they haven't sent anyone to look at it yet ? |

AS LONG AS THE CAR IN IN GOOD MECHANICAL CONDITION AND IS SAFE TO DRIVE ON THE ROAD. IN OTHER WORDS, THE ACCIDENT DIDN'T MESS IT UP ENOUGH TO AFFECT THE SAFELY OF THE CAR. |

If the car will pass state inspection, and you are on the insurance, I would say yes |

you can drive any car any where dont matter whos car it might be so it woul donly depend on the shape of car and if it wil make the trip |

As long as you are on his insurance for that car it should be fine. |

Sure, unless his policy prohibits it. Check it. Depending on your age, their should be no such restrictions. By law, you have to be prohibited by Name in his policy. If your not, anyone licensed can drive it out of state. |
