yes they can find out. weather they decide to act on it is another matter. some warrants are county or state pick up only. it matters on the offense. and how many states away they are. |

Yes they can! And they will--Had a friend that went to get his drivers license and had a warrant from another state and was arrested on the spot. |

Yes the DMV has access to all records and warrants in all of the United States, and most of the rest of the world.

Yes they can and they will restrict you from getting a license until you get them cleared up. I just got back from a trip across the country to get one cleared up so that I can get my license here. I wish you the best!!! |

You betchum Red Rider! You need to settle that warrant one way or another, it doesn't go away. Not only that, if you ever go back to that state without having settled whatever the warrant was for, and get checked for anything at all, you will be in the pokey faster than you can swallow your Trident. |

Sure, but so what? Unless it's for a major felony, they'll probably not act upon it. If you've skipped alimony payments, or didn't show up for traffic court, or any other minor infractions, there's nothing about which to worry. If you're under indictment as a murderer, bank robber, terrorist or something of that type, just turn yourself in; it'll go easier on you anyway! |
