Yes they can.
Based on the theory that if your car was parked in your driveway where it should have been (since it wasn't insured), there would not have been an accident. |

What man hit you? Another car? the police officer? In Illinois, you can get ticket and license suspended for not having insurance. I know with tickets, you can just pay the fine in the mail before the court date, pleading guilty so you don't have to go to court. I hope this helps. Hmmmm..you won't have to go to court BUT...they can suspend your license...the have to notify DMV...Was your car moving at the time? If not..the rules may be different..bottom line...get insurance... |

in colorado you have to have your insurance in your vehicle at all times. and if you get in an accident then the first thing the police are going to want is your information and proof of insurance. even if it wasnt your fault... you were in the wrong for not having insurance. |

yes sir, weather he hit you or u hit him u still need insurance. IT is crap I know but if you do not pay them then they will suspend your licence and u will eventually end up like me revoked and will never get my licence back. Just pay it cuz if you do not then u face jail time too. |
