Only if a full licence holder who has held a full licence for more than 3 years is with you, you also need to display L plates and have tax, mot and insurance to cover yourself while your driving it. |

in the 80s you could drive the robin on a provisional but no one took advantage of it ,i dont no if they have changed the law . |

as with all cars you need to display L plates front and rear and have a qualified driver who has held their licence for over two years sat in the passenger seat. There is a way round it unique to robin reliants. If you hold a full bike licence, then you can have a pin inserted in the gearbox which locks out reverse gear. this then effectivley makes the car into a trike. No helmet needed and can drive it without supervision |

Consider it the same as driving a four-wheeled car, as the boring legal stuff goes anyway. THe characteristics of the thing on the road might be a somewhat different matter, though... |
