Every day there are a dozen or more questions from teen drivers asking "Can i drive alone with just a learners permit".
It clearly tells me that you kids are not reading your States / Provinces drivers manual, because all of the manuals state, in no uncertain terms, that a teen driver using a learners permit must ALWAYS have a licensed adult with them when they are driving. A note is not able to come to your assistance should you have a problem when driving, only a real live person can do that. |

Driving unsupervised isn't like getting out of gym class -- you can't get a "pass" just because you have a note. I can picture you getting pulled over and handing the cop that note. Thanks for the best laugh today. |

I would say no, |

no. You have to be 16 to have a permit. Also you need a parent in the car with you even if you have a permit |

No, the parent is there so that you are SUPERVISED. Without the parent your not SUPERVISED. The parent (oh who ever) needs to have a liscense too. So If the police stop you, you will be in trouble. |
