im trying to get a 8000 dollars car, dealer says ur credit in not good, have a score of 570, so he offers a 23,99 percent financing,,,,so for 60 months i will pay 320 a month, he says purchase the warranty,i signed for the deal, bit did not give anymoney down yet, or a void cheque,,,,,went back today and was wondering why the car loan price was 12000 +about 7000 interest,,,plus i in trading my car for $1000,i noticed the warranty for 2 years is $3500 for the finance of the car im purchasing, i was not told about this, maybe missed it on the sheet,,,there are way more papers to sign, so i have not driven the car yet,,,,can i cancel that warranty? he says we already inspected the car for You,,,,,,im so friggin mad!!!!!!!!1so they think im cominh tomorrow with a void cheque,,,can i still bargain for them to cancel warranty?

Wow!! That is a horrible deal; run for your life. My wife is leasing a new luxury car for $375 a month with not much more down than you paid. I know your credit poor, which does cost you a lot more money, but they are taking advantage of you. See if you can get a loan from your credit union or bank and buy from a individual. Yes, there is some risk, but I have bought plenty of awesome cars from individuals for under $10K. At least MOST individuals are not trying to rip you off. Just about (not all of course) any used car dealer that sees your credit score is going to take you for a ride. |

I'd do more than bargain--I'd walk, or run, from this deal. Granted your credit isn't too good, but this sounds like a total ripoff, maybe bait-and-switch. If you can possibly get out of it, do it. |
