Buy a NEW VW Fox, upgrade it to all the extras and get FULLY COMPREHENSIVE Insurance [975,77€]
Rather than
Insure myself again, on my Horrible OLD Nissan Almera (00) [1297,10€] 3rd party only ?
Of course it's not...because I'd then also have too pay 205,66€ for 35 months, but why is it cheaper too insure myself on a NEW car, fully comprehensive rather than an old car 3rd party only ?

Ah maybe that is why !! It has 5 Star Euro NCAP rating...

children under 16 in your house hold
also make the insurance more expensive... =( it is terrible...
so I might have too get a new car ;) although my logic is flawed

How you pay insurance is bound to be different there than here, but we pay much less on an older car in the US. And, assuming you don't have repairs to make that will cost you more than the actual value of your car, you are usually better off financially, to keep the old car. But if you find you have to do, say, new brakes all the way around, and a new transmission, and the structure is going to rust through...and the whole thing isn't worth 1000€, then go ahead and get a new car.
Personally, I don't really care what it looks like, mine is 20 years old, and only costs me about $20 to fill up. (and gets 40 mpg) so...I have rust holes all over the poor thing, but until it totally buys the farm, I'm still driving it! |

Speaking only in referance to American auto insurance, the premium reflects many factors about the vehicle. Some of those include the overall safety of the vehicle and as such, safer vehicles are cheaper to insure. |

A friend in Europe drives a 1962 Alfa Romeo on classic insurance and he pays the equivalent of 200 bucks per year and that's not got any 5 Star Euro NCAP claptrap
I pay $38 liability only and for a fully comp on a new car it'll be $189 without the liability (that's aside) so I don't know what you are talking about.
