cheer me up. I just got in my first wreck. Got my license June 18th on my bday. Wrecked today. I've had my car since March. It wasn't my fault thank god! i got hit in the back. this lady ran a red light and i went straight and she hit me. her air bags deployed and mine didn't. Im really glad her kid sat in the back instead of the front. a little kid. and yeah. Accordin to the witness, AT&T guys. They were behind her and saw it. Told me and the cops it was her fault. and they told me i spun in my car. 2002 Ford Escape and I drive a 1995 Mitsubish Eclipse GST. My dad is comin home at 4. How do i tell him. Wasn't my fault.

It's not your fault, you'll be taken care of. That's what insurance is for. Call your insurance company and explain the situation they will get the ball rolling and her insurance company will have your car fixed in no time. Oh and you can tell Dad his insurance rates shouldn't go up. |

dont worry if you were rear ended it is always the other drivers fault,,,failure to stop in the assured clear distance...your dad will know this,,, |

Just tell your Dad the truth; Im sure he loves you and will be more concerned that your ok than the damage to the car.
Thats what insurance and Insurance reduction courses are for. |

Be honest if it was not your fault well it is not your fault. Your Dad can help you learn how to deal with an insurance claim. It will be ok no one was hurt. There are millions of cars your Dad only has one you. |

What's he going to do, beat you because you got rear-ended? You happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It wasn't your fault. Just be glad you weren't hurt. I'm sure your dad will see it that way, too. |

Just explain it clearly and dont get nervous. Tell him all the scenario, and if possible you can bring a witness if there is. Dont be afraid about the damages, his car insurance company will provide necessary action about this.
