So i reported the claim to my insurance but i didnt give specific information. Will i be able to add additional details when the representatives give me a call? because i just thought of how the incident could have happened and it wasn't my fault.

Yes you will be able to give more details when an insurance Representative calls you. They will ask you a lot of questions like who was in the car, what time of day it happened, weather etc. in much more detail than was asked when you firct called to report the accident.
