I was rear ended yesterday as I was about to pull out of walmart and me and the guy pulled into a parking next to it so we wouldnt block the exit. Ive never been in a wreck and I called home to be told what to do, and to have my mom write down the information because I didnt have a pen or anything. The guy seemed cool and cooperative and I wasnt really thinking straight apparently and I never got his license plate number, and the information we got was pretty much all B.S...policy number, drivers license number..the works. All I know is his name MIGHT be Bryan Griffin and he MIGHT be married to a girl named Tara or Cara. I KNOW he drives a maroon, 2004 F250 with a lift and bigger tires, and I KNOW that his insurance company is farmers I KNOW his agent's name is Harold Gonzales, who is based in Oklahoma city while I live in Dallas...I THINK he was telling the truth about his age(23)...Thats about it. No surveillance caught it , the number he gave me(469-338-8203)is probably not his though coincidentally it shows up as a rockwall(where I live) sprint number but shows no name or address. Sprint wont tell me anything either because "thats against their privacy restrictions". I cant think of anything I can possibly do. I have filed a police report already but I doubt thats going to work as I have heard it usually doesnt.

Son, you do not mention how much damage you have. Certain things are worth fighting for; others are not. If you are ok and the car not wrecked, I would forget it. If there is 10,000 in damage, then you might have to hire an investigator, but i am not hopeful. Listen to the others, next time take a picture with your phone; at least you will have the license number and a record. Consider yourself lucky, if confronted he could have damaged more than your car. |
