Car accident settlement?

Was involved in an auto accident
caused by a drunk driver and suffered permanent scaring and about 4000 in
medical bills what is a good settlement?

In America the standard is usually your medical bills (x) 3.....
So $12,000 would be the minimum.....plus repair or replacement of your auto.

Depending on the insurance limits of the other driver, somewhere around 50k, maybe to 100k.

Sadly the 3x your medical bills theory is not really applying anymore. at least that is what my experience has been. i was in an accident about 2 years ago and things have changed i was under medical care for almost a year and i only received $3000 over my medical bills of $8000. Believe me i tried to work with the adjuster for along time and he only went up $1500 over his initial offer. I also called and talked to an attorney and he told me the same thing. I was in another accident about 12 years prior and the 3x med bills was the formula . I guess it could be better than you think. it could depend on how serious and permanant your injuries are and if you are willing to go to court.
