if you had been legal in the first place .the law would have helped sort your problem out.
and whats the other driver going to tell his insurance company ,he hit a uninsured vehicle .
and its funny you got money to pay for the repairs but none to take out insurance.
its people like you who honest drivers have to pay higher premiums.
i think its a bit of rough justice ,its a pity the other driver didnt do enough damage to right the vehicle off.
because im sure as you get the vehicle repaired im sure you will be back on the road again .

you have commited an offence the instance you drove your car without insurance, if you call the police they will prosecute you for driving without insurance, take your uninsured car away and have it crushed, and when yiu do get insurance it will cost you more because you have driven without insurance before. wake up and smell the coffee, you are in the wrong.

You're an idiot. What were you thinking getting into your car knowing you didn't have insurance? If this is a first offence you will probably just get 6 points on your licence, however if you have done this before then chances are you will have your licence taken away from you.

You'll be in a massive amount of trouble.

It's against the road traffic act to drive without insurance, and the police will prosecute you.

You'll have to claim yourself from the other guys insurance, and they probably wont pay out, and will bill you for the damage to the other guys car (regardless of fault) as you shouldnt have been on the road (if you werent on the road, the accident wouldnt have happened)

mmm not a lot you can do,except get ready to lose ur car, no insurance = no car, who ever sold you the car, will prob have told DVLA , So it will be registered to you, boo hoo.

ok. do you live somewhere that you are required to have insurance if you have a car on the road? Do you have the names and ph#'s of the witnesses? it may be better to put in a claim and then GET YOUR INSURANCE with whatever penalty they give, even if they suspend your DL for a bit you can get a hardship license to drive to work and school.
