I had a car accident 2 moths ago. It was not my fault , I have the police report that says that but because I have no fault insurance I only got $500 and the damages are $4500. How do I get the money to fix my car ? Who is supposed to pay for that ? Should I sue the insurance company or the other person involved ? What should I do ? Please help !!! I have no car ...I have to walk to work or take the bus .. I live in Michigan .

In Michigan, YOUR Basic No-Fault coverage (on your own policy) does not pay for repairs to *your* vehicle after an accident, no matter whose fault it was.
Under Michigan law, if the other party is 50% or more at-fault in an accident, they can be sued (through *their* insurance) for up to $500 in damages to another person’s car which are not covered by collision insurance....that sounds like that was what already happened in your case.
Therefore, if you don't have collision insurance coverage on your own policy, you've received all the insurance money you can.
Edit: as for the rest of the damage, you're on your own, unfortunately....as Michigan law states that you must carry collision coverage on your own policy in order to be compensated for any amount over $500, even if the other party is at fault.
