Car in Impound, cant get oof hold?

My car was impounded, and is on hold, because an officer needs to talk to the other guy that was with me... Now i have talked to this officer, and the other guy has ried... 3 times, we cant get a hold of this cop... Is there someone higher up I can talk to about this, beacuse my car is going up price wise everyday, and i got the money to get it out now... We are trying to cooperate, but there not, the officer is not getting back with us, so my car is stuck on hold... What do I do? plz and thnx all...

o yea, the officer works nights, cant get a hold of him in the day time, we tried at night, he was working and everything, only they sadi they couldnt give out his number, and wouldnt patch us through to him because hes driveing.. Is this just some sick money game with them?

Have your friend go in and talk to the chief of police, you go along and explain your car is going up in price because of the hold. Hopefully the chief can resolve it for you.
In Oklahoma we don't have those problems because an officer can only put a 72 hour hold on a vehicle, and after that the DA has to extend it. You might look up the laws on that in your state. |
