Car insurance and 18?

I live in mn and my car insurance is going to be 300 and some for liability and full is going to be 600 a month Is that good or high I do have not a good driving record and i drive a 99 s10 blazer

At 18 with a spotty record, ANY price is probably a good one. All you can do is try several agents/companies and see who's lowest. If you don't have to have comp and collision coverages to satisfy a bank or other lender, avoid them, because they'll eat you alive. The car is 10 years old, and after deductible, you might not get enough to make it worthwhile.

That's what you get out of asking ONE insurer.
It means that if you spend a week searching around you can cut that by half or more.
Try getting quoted at http://www.simplyinsurancequotes.com/car-insurance-quote.php?id=ap3
and http://www.car-insurance.moneysavecenter.com?id=ap3 write all prices and contact down then do 20 more sites.
Then get yellow pages and phone everyone there, write price next to their name.
Don't stop searching till you are offered below $120 liability. Or more, who knows what you can find.
When you know who the cheapest one is, check them out with your state's insurance department (meaning, see if they are licensed and properly registered and if there's any complains etc, you know, check-them-out) then if all good go for them.
