Car insurance claim?

Someone reversed into the front of my son's car today. She admitted responsibility and gave her details. My son has contacted his insurance and they are contacting hers.
My question is;
When it is all sorted, will my son's no claims be affected as he has made a claim, even though the insurance is claiming off the other party?
I don't think it will, but a friend has told him otherwise.

It shouldnt affect his IF she tells the truth....stories change once lawyers are contacted
You should always get witnesses right away so that your story can be backed up

what if she claims he ran into her and she didnt back up??

It won't affect his NCD.

He is claiming on her insurance.

You could have contacted her insurance direct, and not even spoken to yours.

it was a no fault claim as she is admitting liability. therefore his NCD won't be affected, but hers will be!!

It shouldnt be as the claim will be from the other person's insurance and not your son's.

Since there is no claim *against him* it won't affect it at all.

if the full amount has been reimbursed it will not affect his ncb BUT IT WILL AFFECT HIS PREMIUM


Aas his insurer knows, if he tries to change companies, theres that old coconut on the application form

you have to put "yes" this will load his premium

I was rear ended informed my ins he admited full liability my no claim was not affected and on my renewal notice it was recorded as a no fault so ifI went to another ins I would still have my no claims bonus
