Car insurance for teenagers?

Is there any teenagers (MALE) who have got a quote for less than £600 with 1 years no claims bonus? If so, which insurance company is it with? The prices im getting are insane! I live in the UK.

Nope it will be impossible to get a quote for under £600 mate, even if you had a Mr. Bean car. Cheapest I got was £1800.

You always ask your parents to help you out.

my daughter got a great quote from elephant.co.uk for her first insurance policy, she was 17 and had no NCB and was just under £500, but they didnt do such a good price for me with 20 uyears driving experience and max NCB.
it is just a matter of shopping around, time and energy to get the best quote you can

My boyfriend had this problem when he first passed his test and we got his dad to insure the car under his name and put him on as a named driver which worked out a lot cheaper!!
This just depends if one of ur parents would be willing to do this though!!

If you are under 21 the odds are against you, sorry. But keep trying. I think Direct Line have a new policy where you can be added to a parents policy but have your own no claim bonus. Try their web site.
Or try confused.com for a load of quotes.
