ok so I bought a used car using car finance. (IN AUSTRALIA)
now I need insurance.. Is it true if i'm on a car finance I need to have comprehensive insurance? or can I just buy third-party insurance?

You need to read your finance contract. The lender may not require comprehensive coverage depending on the value of the car. |

You must get fully comprehensive insurance. You bought the car on finance because of the full cost. Imagine wrecking the car. You would still owe for the loan in full. Comprehensive insurance protects you from a heavy debt. |
