declare sorn,then declare when on the road?

instead of paying 4 time off road.

Motorists are just an easy target for government , like you I get annoyed about cost of tax on fuel etc , but it is down to personal choice to have a car so I suppose we just have to bite out tongues and get on with it . I wouldn't mind so much if proper public transport could be arranged by out wonderful politicians , but they are all too busy filling in their expense forms to get even more money from the tax payers ,,,, oops better stop before I carry on ranting all day |

we've always been ripped of with car fuel and other taxes just sit back for now because the government who ever it is are really going to shaft us when they got to get the money back they are lending to the banks who are bigga crooks than the politicians |

The car tax is peanuts compared to the tax and duty we pay on fuel so better to pressure to get that sorted first I think. |

He had higher taxes lined up to reap our hard earned cash but the recent foul up by him and his mates made them realise that votes are not won by taxing people who have lost a lot even more. So they are on the back burner. I understand the nee for road tax and the premise is fine with me. But gordon is spending what he does not have and motorists are a captive audience in the field of mugging for free.
Re Electric cars. Leccy needs to be generated. Batteries are polluting, both manufacture and disposal. Individual cells can go faulty reducing range and you are as only as good as your last charge. I fancy they will be leapfrogged by fuel cells. |
